We are lucky to welcome three new volunteers who bring valuable skills to our Marketing Team and Board of Directors:
Chandra O’Ree, Board of Directors
With a professional background in mental health and marketing, and a degree in Sociology, Chandra will focus on increasing outreach to both survivors and potential partners. Her dedication to social justice, and her experience as an ICF accredited relationship coach, will directly benefit NSNV survivors; her experience executing brand initiatives and programs will help NSNV’s marketing team expand our reach.
Lucy Miller, Board of Directors
Lucy brings a global perspective to NSNV, having traveled extensively throughout the world, which serves her well in her focus on community advocacy. Her professional background in HR, Finance and Business Operations, will benefit NSNV greatly as we navigate a broadening social landscape where we wish to be accessible, respectful, and inclusive for all who can benefit from our services.
Mary Simons, Marketing Team
Mary (Mimi) Simons, a junior at San Diego State University, is joining our Marketing Team with a focus on social media and marketing. She has experience managing social media for her college newspaper, and working on related campus projects. Mimi is excited to collaborate with our social media team to boost engagement and develop creative campaigns, and she’s eager to apply her enthusiasm for marketing as she learns new skills in this role.
We are currently seeking an Adopt-a-Family Coordinator, and always welcome new members to our Marketing team. If you can volunteer up to a few hours a week, we invite you to join us! VOLUNTEER
