Volunteer Opportunities include:
Crisis Contact: We receive phone calls, emails, and direct referrals on behalf of men, women, and children who are in crisis as a result of domestic violence. Please consider joining our volunteers in the answering of emails, returning of phone calls, and the providing of resources who are looking to us in their most desperate moments of need.
Donation Collection and Distribution: We are often working with families who are in transition and have specific needs as it pertains to food, clothing, transportation, and household items. NoSilence NoViolence is looking to partner with storage units around the country in order to store items for those in need, as well as individuals looking to assist with collection and delivery.
Prevention and Education: From phone calls to schools, faith based entities, large companies, and more, NoSilence NoViolence desires assistance with the setting up of presentations surrounding the topics of: Healthy Relationships, Workplace Violence, Domestic Violence in Faith Communities, and more. In addition, if you’re interested in facilitating these presentations as a volunteer we’d love to talk to you!
Fundraising: This is one of our most significant areas of need. NoSilence NoViolence receives far more requests for help that what we are able to fulfill. Please consider assisting us with the dissemination of donation letters, fundraising partnerships, matching programs, and community events.
Giving: Another way to come alongside NoSilence NoViolence is through your generous giving. Any amount helps, as it only takes a handful of dollars a day to ensure that a survivor is fed, clothed, and has a safe place to stay. We appreciate each and every donation that comes our way and consider this to be one of the most powerful ways that our partners are able to support our mission.
